The Apocalypse is upon us…. Nightmare on Chicago Street will be your only hope to survive the UnDead again this year.

We survived last year, but somehow, someway a few of the undead have been seen once again. Our top researchers and scientists have been working hard to keep us up to date about the coming annihilation which they believe will happen October 27th, 2012.

Again, your only hope to survive and to keep the human race alive is to be in the safe zone!

The safe zone will be under heavy Military control this year in order to keep everyone safe from the infection. Once again in order to stay alive you need to proceed to Nightmare on Chicago Street on Chicago Ave. (enter the safe zone through our BEEFED UP Bio Tents at the corners of Spring Street and Chicago Ave).
This year we are expecting heavy zombie presence so we have added some extra space to the safe zone. Sectioned off will also be Douglas Ave (from Highland to Chicago).

We can not guarantee that the safe zone will be maintained in an orderly manner.

As with all viral infections that occur, some people will undoubtedly FREAK OUT and destroy some of the businesses and buildings in the safe zone.

Expect some of the businesses to be Boarded Up, trash everywhere, burning tires, some of the left over cars may be damaged and overturned, as well as ZOMBIES being caged up. Do no fear! Everything will be in order and your safety is guaranteed by Military presence and several of our ZDI staff members. Some of the businesses will be open for you to get food, shelter (YWCA Elgin’s Warming Station), medical treatment (Ambulance will be there with doctors on hand), and several more food and drink stations throughout the safe zone.

As with all groups of people (or things) some have a kind heart to them and will feel bad for the undead. I would assume that there will be protestors there fighting for ZOMBIE RIGHTS and several ZOMBIE MARCHES may occur.

This may be your last shot at survival, so we at ZDI will make sure that every Human has a good time with 2 stages of entertainment, bands, food, booze (plenty of booze), vendors, food vendors, games, live graffiti artists, and guests like SVENGOOLIE, HAIRBANGERS BALL, and V IS FOR VILLAINS.

In order to maintain some sort of economic health after the apocalypse we are asking for a safe zone entrance fee of $10. This will get you into the safe zone to partake in all of the entertainment, but more importantly it will guarantee your survival!! Online tickets can be purchase on our website for only $7.
